quality assurance coordinator
- JOB OBJECTIVE
- The Quality Assurance Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing all social service case notes (Counselors/Therapists, Behavior Parent Aides, Behavior Aides, Assessors) completed by the agency staff/contractors to assess for quality, accuracy, and requesting revisions.
- Under supervision of CEO consultation provides oversight and monitoring of quality assurance practices
- JOB STATUS Part-Time (25 hours/week)
- Accountable to the CEO
- JOB QUALIFICATION LCSW, LPC, LMSW, LAPC in the State of Georgia with a Minimum of 5-7 years experience in a clinical service setting and at least two years experience monitoring and overseeing clinical quality assurance practices in a psychiatric-related setting.
- JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 1. Strong knowledge of the DSM V TR diagnoses.
- 2. Strong knowledge of crisis management interventions, substance abuse education and treatment, case management, Georgia community resources, and rehabilitation supports for children, at-risk youth, and their families.
- 3. Strong knowledge of the State of Georgia DFCS system, mission, vision, programs, and services.
- 4. Strong knowledge of empirically validated and evidence-based treatment modalities.

- 6. puter skills – proficient in navigating an electronic medical record. MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) experience required.
- 7. Ability to evaluate and monitor medical records and provide appropriate interaction and feedback to clinical staff regarding QA.
- 8. Experience in writing Biopsychosocials, Behavioral Health assessments, Behavioral Plans other clinical assessments.
- 9. Knowledgeable in writing BIRP notes, Treatment Plans, and Discharge plans
- 10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 11. Excellent interpersonal skills and team player concepts.
